Aldershot West Conservation Area is an area designated as having special architectural or historic interest, the character of which it is desirable to preserve and enhance.
The Aldershot West Conservation Area was first designated in 1980 and also reviewed in 1983 and 1989.
There is currently no adopted character appraisal and management plan supporting the designation or current boundary.
We therefore consulted on a draft Aldershot West Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan between 29 August and 10 October 2023.
We will now review all the responses received before deciding whether the document should be adopted or if any changes are needed.
