South Farnborough Conservation Area is an area designated as having special architectural or historic interest, the character of which it is desirable to preserve and enhance.

The Conservation Area was first designated in 1987 and has not been reviewed since.

There is currently no adopted Character Appraisal and Management Plan supporting the designation or current boundary. The council will prepare a draft Character Appraisal and Management Plan for public consultation this year as part of its conservation area review programme.
