Small grants focussing on healthy lifestyles and opportunities and aspirations for young people.
We offer grants of between £50 and £1,500 to groups and clubs that can show that they would have real difficulty funding projects without our help.
Grant applications must focus on healthy lifestyles (such as projects around physical or mental health, including encouraging active lifestyles) or opportunities and aspirations for young people.
You can use the grant for things like one-off projects, equipment, individual events and uniforms. You can also apply for up to half the cost of a defibrillator.
You cannot use it to pay for day-to-day costs or the general running costs (including salaries or wages) of your group or organisation. Your project must not be retrospective. Organisations should not commit themselves to a project or any spending before any final decision is made.
We will not give grants to trading or profit-making companies.
If you are successful, we may not always be able to offer you the full grant you've asked for.
Applications are considered monthly until the funding runs out.
Please note, organisations will only be awarded one council grant in a financial year (a community, ward or Farnborough airport community environmental fund grant) (financial year runs April to March).
