We are awarding grants of between £100 to £1,000 for not-for-profit organisations, that work with communities or groups of people within Aldershot and Farnborough.

The aim of this grant scheme is to provide flexible funding for your project that will make a difference to people's lives and help bring communities together. It is open to a wide variety of organisations that are active in our local community.

Councillors may also apply to help them achieve their local ward objectives, where there is no external sponsoring organisation.

Our priorities for this scheme link to our Supporting Communities Strategy and it aims to support small, local projects which:

  • Connect communities
  • Improve physical and mental health
  • Provide aspirations for young people and increase their resilience
  • Help with economic hardship
  • Ease cost of living pressures

How much is available to organisations

We have £1,000 to allocate in each ward in Rushmoor.

We encourage you, if you would like to apply to speak to your ward councillors before making an application, to discuss whether they would like to support the funding. Each application needs the support of at least 2 councillors per ward.

If the grant will provide benefit across multiple wards, wards may combine part of their allocated money to provide a grant of up to a maximum of £1,000.

The Portfolio Holder for Democracy, Strategy and Partnerships also has a small allocation to provide grants of up to £1,000 for projects which benefit Aldershot and Farnborough.
