Programme management for the Rushmoor Plan

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is the project plan for the Rushmoor Plan.

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) provides the opportunity to find out which planning policy documents we will be producing over the next three years and the various stages that each document will go through, including public consultation.

The LDS covers the period from August 2016 to August 2019.

You will find more details in the most recent pdf icon Local Development Scheme [1Mb] document.

Minor amendments to the Rushmoor Local Plan timetable

We made some minor amendments to the timetable for the preparation of the new Rushmoor Local Plan following the announcement of the government's consultation on 'Planning for the right homes in the right places' in September 2017.

Our cabinet considered the response to the government's consultation paper at its meeting on 17 October 2017 and endorsed the continuation of the preparation of the Rushmoor Local Plan, with submission to the Planning Inspectorate in early 2018.

Examination into the Rushmoor Local Plan

The public hearings stage of the examination into the Local Plan took place in May/June 2018 and public consultation on proposed main modifications took place in September/October 2018.
