An amazing free day of play and games in Aldershot town centre.
Aldershot PlayFest! was an amazing action-packed day of fun hands-on play and games for all ages.
The activities on the day included:
- Ocean virtual reality experience
- Bubble exploration station
- Climbing inside a giant cave
- Creating a giant mural
- Join in a pop-up barn dance
- Trying an instrument at the Musication Station
- Quiet story corner
- Programme a Lego robot
- Meet the beekeepers
- Take part in bushcraft and forest-themed crafty fun
- Having a kickabout with Hampshire FA
- Learning karate moves
- Build a bird with K-NEX
- Learning a new board game
- For toddlers, there was art, music and messy play too
This event is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Playfest will be back on Saturday 24 August 2024.
