An amazing free day of play and games is coming to Aldershot town centre on Saturday 27 August from 10am to 4pm.  

Aldershot PlayFest! is an action-packed day of fun hands-on play and games for all ages. There are stacks of free activities to look forward to throughout the town centre.  

Families can try mad and messy science experiments, create a giant mural of self-portraits, try an instrument at the Musication Station, visit the Shed of Stories, build a Lego creation, meet the beekeepers, play computer games in the pop-up arcade, make and play junk instruments, try bushcraft and forest-themed crafty fun, and loads more!

Drop by the pop-up stage for Balloonatic’s Bonkers Balloon Show and Captain Fantastic’s crazy science show.  

At the Workshop Marquee, families will be able to take part in a mini-rave party, African drumming, karate and Indian dancing.

All activities are free. Children must be accompanied at all times and activities are subject to change. Please check the signs on each activity station during your visit!

All PlayFest! activities take place in the pedestrianised Union and Wellington Streets in Aldershot town centre (use postcode: GU11 1EP), unless otherwise stated.

The nearest parking is the High Street multi-storey car park at Wellington Avenue, Aldershot GU11 1SD. Charges apply.
