We have two senior citizens' forums, one in Aldershot and one in Farnborough.

The forums are open to anyone aged 60 or over, who lives in Rushmoor.

The meetings bring together local groups, organisations and residents and gives a voice for older people in the borough. It provides an opportunity for senior citizens to have a say on some of the most topical issues affecting the local area.

We are committed to engaging local people in shaping our services and facilities, and these forums provides an important opportunity for us to listen to older residents' views and priorities as part of the process for improving, developing and reviewing services - particularly those that affect senior citizens.

The forums were first launched in 2004 and now attract 90 to 100 residents to each meeting. New members are always welcome and if you would like to attend, you can turn up on the day or contact the forum organiser, using the contact details on this page, for more details.
