The work of the IT team includes:
- Advising on and delivery of the IT strategy
- Setting corporate standards and policies for investing in and using IT

- Development, maintenance and security of the council's hardware platforms, voice and data network communications infrastructure and services

- Geographical information systems (GIS) and local land and property gazetteer (LLPG) support services
