Council offices closed

Our council offices are remain closed to the public.

This means we are not able to offer appointments for you to visit our reception area. 

You will find many of our services are available on this website, so this is a good place to start.

Our staff are working, so if you need to contact us, please do so by email or by telephone and we will be happy to help you.

You can drop off paperwork to the offices, there is letter box to the left of the main door that is emptied daily.

If you need to make a payment, you can do so using our make a payment web pages. You can also use our 24-hour payments line, 01252 398 373, or pay through your local Post Office or bank.

Our customer services, benefits, business rates and council tax teams phone lines are still busy, so it may take longer to deal with your enquiry.

Staff are available by phone and email during our normal opening hours:

  • Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 5pm
  • Friday - 8.30am to 4.30pm
