Airspace Change Proposal

Approval for TAG Farnborough Airport controlled airspace.

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has approved TAG Farnborough Airport's Airspace Change Proposal (CAA), although there were some significant changes to accommodate the needs of the general aviation community.

The Airspace Change Proposal sought to introduce 'controlled' airspace around the airport, which would involve some changes to flight paths for inbound and outbound aircraft. This is a formal CAA process that TAG Farnborough Airport carried out with the support of the CAA.

This is not a Rushmoor Borough Council initiative and the outcome does not affect the planning controls in place for the operation of the airport.

You can find out more information on the TAG Farnborough Airport Airspace Change Proposal website.
