As part of our preparation for the new local plan, we have three consultations. Each of the consultations will provide an opportunity for the residents, those that work in Aldershot and Farnborough and other stakeholders (for example, business owners), to have their say.

The closing date is Friday 31 July.
About the consultations
Scoping consultation
The first consultation, the scoping consultation, will be open for six weeks between 19 June and 31 July 2026 and will be seeking views on what to include in the local plan and how to approach future engagement.
Content and evidence consultation
The second consultation, content and evidence consultation, will be open for six weeks in February/March 2027 and will be seeking views on a draft vision, the proposed aims and objectives, a proposed spatial strategy approach and the evidence that has already been gathered and that we intend to gather.
Proposed local plan consultation
The third consultation, proposed local plan consultation, will be open for eight weeks in January/March 2028 and will be seeking the views on the draft local plan and the evidence that has been gathered to support it.
