We offer help and support to landlords to make sure that rented homes in Aldershot and Farnborough are safe and well-managed.
Landlords' forum - Tuesday 11 November
If you are a private landlord or letting agent in Rushmoor, you can join us for an evening of updates, networking, and support.
Our free event is on Tuesday 11 November from 6pm to 8.30pm, at the council offices in Farnborough.
We will be presenting about:
- The Renters’ Rights Act 2025 – what it means for landlords
- Housing support for tenants
- Tackling damp and mould
- Helping tenants in financial difficulty
- Information on how to access free training
The meeting is free and we will be providing refreshments.
Please confirm your attendance by going our register for our landlords' forum event page.
Show you are a responsible landlord
Landlords can also join the Landlord Accreditation Scheme to improve their knowledge of the sector and to show tenants that they are a good landlord. For details, see the National Residential Landlords Association website.
Minimum energy efficiency standards
If you are selling or letting a property, you will need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
Landlords are not allowed to let properties with an EPC rating of F or G, even if there is an existing tenant. Unless there is a registered exemption.
For more information, visit the landlord guidance on minimum energy efficiency standards on the GOV.UK website.
