From pitch to paper -
sketching workshops at Aldershot Town FC
Saturday 13 September
Join local artist and Shots supporter Hattie Croucher for two relaxed sketching workshops at Aldershot Town Football Club. You’ll take a wander around the grounds, stopping to draw whatever inspires you – from the stands and pitch, to behind-the-scenes details. Hattie will share tips and ideas along the way to help you make the most of your sketches.
All abilities are welcome – whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or you draw every day. Materials provided on the day – or bring your own.
‘Sketch crawling’ is a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore drawing - whether you're a seasoned artist or just curious to try it for the first time. These events are open to everyone, regardless of experience. The idea is simple: you walk through a space, pausing at different spots to sketch whatever grabs your attention. There are no rules, no pressure, and no right or wrong - just the freedom to observe, interpret, and create in your own way.
Times:
12.30pm to 2pm – Adults workshop (age 16+)
2.30pm to 4pm – Family workshop (age 6+). All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No children can be left alone at the workshop.
