Please read the information below before you travel, so you know what to expect and find out how to get the most out your visit.

Entry into the event 

Everyone who enters the event will need to have a valid ticket and all adults (18 or over) must provide ID. Tickets are non-transferable. 

You will have received your tickets via email from ‘Citizen Ticket’ no-reply@citizenticket.co.uk - please check your junk email if you cannot find your ticket.  

If you have more issues or cannot find your ticket, please visit the Citizen Ticket website and log in, using the email address you provided when booking your tickets.

Bag searches will be in operation.

No alcohol, glass, drugs, weapons, drones or large items to be brought into the event. There is also a Challenge 25 policy at all bars at the event.

No dogs, except assistance dogs.

Photo ID

All ticket holders (18 or over) need to produce photographic ID matching the name on their ticket at the entrance and when requested. Types of photo ID you can use:  

  • Passport 
  • A photocard driving licence 
  • Defence Identity Card 
  • HM Armed Forces Veteran Card 
  • Older Person’s Bus Pass 
  • Disabled Person’s Bus Pass 
  • Blue Badge

Please visit our Saturday 27 June or Sunday 28 June pages for the latest on what is happening and timings for the events. 

Timings of the event: 

  • Saturday 27 June – 9am to 6pm 
  • Sunday 28 June – 10am to 5pm 

Getting to the venue

The event is being held at Queens Avenue, Aldershot, GU11 2JL.  

Walking 

We encourage you to walk to the event if you can. 

The entrances for pedestrians are at the north and south of the site:

  • Gate A (next to Aldershot Military Museum)
  • Gate F (just past St Andrew’s Garrison Church)

Rail 

There are some South Western Railway engineering works on the line in from London at the weekend of our event. With a replacement bus service. Please visit South Western Railway's summer events page for more information.

Once you arrive at Aldershot or Farnborough (Main), there is a free shuttle bus service running direct to the event site. 

Railway station shuttle bus

You can hop on our shuttle bus service from both Aldershot and Farnborough (Main) station.  

The service is free and can be used even if you haven’t arrived by train.

Running all day from 8.45am.

The last return bus from the event site is 6.30pm.

Frequency of buses is approximately every 5 minutes (peak times). At quieter periods, buses are approximately every 10 minutes.

Sunday 28 June

Running between Aldershot railway station, Farnborough (Main) station and the event site.

Running all day from 9am.

The last return bus from the event site is 5pm.

Frequency of buses is approximately every 10 minutes.

The service is being run by Stagecoach. Please look out for the buses, which will be signposted for the event. 

Bus

There may be some changes to regular bus routes, so please check the Stagecoach website for more information. 

Car

Pre-paid priority parking (including blue badge parking) 

If you have bought a priority parking ticket, entry to the site is off the southbound Farnborough Road (A325), heading into Aldershot. The postcode is GU11 2JN and the what3words for the car park entrance is ///bids.editor.adopt

As you enter Farnborough or Aldershot, follow the yellow AA signs to ‘AFDNE 2026’ and to ‘Pre-paid parking’.

The car park will be open from 8.30am on Saturday (9.30am on Sunday). Please have your parking ticket ready to scan. If you have a blue badge, please also make sure it is displayed clearly on your car. You can enter the event site directly from the priority parking area. 

Cars and their contents are parked at the owner’s risk. The organisers do not accept any responsibility for losses or thefts of any kind of property anywhere on the event site, car park or park and ride locations.  

Park and ride – Saturday only 

For Saturday’s event, we also have free shuttle buses from our park and ride location on Farnborough Business park. The postcode for the park and ride area is GU14 7BF.

When you enter Aldershot or Farnborough, follow the yellow AA signs to ‘AFDNE 2026’ and to ‘Non pre-paid parking’. 

There will be Stagecoach shuttle buses going from the park and ride car parks to the event site. These are running approximately every 10 minutes. They will run from 8.45am and throughout the day. The last bus leaves the event site at 6.30pm.

Queens Avenue closure for the event 

Due to the set up and safety for our event, we need to temporarily close Queens Avenue from 7pm on Thursday 25 June to 7pm on Sunday 28 June. There will be traffic diversions in place and permits for residents and businesses to have access.
