Terms and conditions of booking
Tickets are booked via our partner Citizen Ticket as per their Terms & Conditions. By booking tickets all ticket bookers are also agreeing to our terms and conditions below.
Possession of a Rushmoor Borough Council Armed Forces Day National Event (The Event) ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The organisers reserve the right to update the Terms & Conditions of Booking.
The current version will be available www.rushmoor.gov.uk/armedforcesday/terms (this web page). These terms and conditions were last updated on 14 May 2026.
Ticketing
Tickets may only be booked by a person aged 18 years or over.
Each booking is limited to a maximum of 9 tickets in total (5 adults and 4 children). Separate bookings can be made for Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June.
A valid ticket is required for entry to the event site; no persons will be permitted to enter the site without a valid ticket.
Tickets are non-transferable, all ticket holders over the age of 18 are required to produce photographic ID matching the name on their ticket when requested. Types of photo ID you can use:
- Passport
- A photocard driving licence
- Defence Identity Card
- HM Armed Forces Veteran Card
- Older Person’s Bus Pass
- Disabled Person’s Bus Pass
- Blue Badge
An order confirmation message will be sent via email from Citizen Ticket to the email address entered at the time of booking.
Tickets will be sent via email to the email address entered at the time of booking.
Without a valid ticket, entry into the event will not be permitted. Defaced or altered tickets will not be accepted.
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied under 18s will not be admitted.
Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the children in their party at all times and children must not be left unsupervised at any time during the event.
The email address used at the time of booking will be added to our mailing list. We will send emails to ticket holders in the lead up to the event; these will contain important communications and information about the event. Ticket holders may unsubscribe at any time by following the link at the bottom of emails, but if they do, they may miss important event related communications.
We advise that ticket bookers add AFD2026@rushmoor.gov.uk and noreply@citizenticket.co.uk to their email contacts to help avoid communications being diverted to junk mail. The organisers cannot take responsibility for email communications which are missed or unread.
Conditions of entry
By attending the event, ticket holders acknowledge and consent to photography, filming, and/or recording during the event for safety, security, and promotional purposes, which may include police filming. Ticket holders understand and agree that any resulting photographs, videos, audio recordings, and/or audiovisual recordings may be utilised across various media platforms worldwide for any purpose. However, you retain the option to object to such usage by sending a specific request to AFD2026@rushmoor.gov.uk.
Bag searches will be in operation at the entrance to the event site.
A Challenge 25 policy will be in operation at all bars within the event site. Anyone who appears under 25 will be asked to prove their age.
Event safety is of utmost importance to the organisers. On rare occasions, they may have to close activities, arenas and/or stages. The reason for any closure or restriction may include technical or operational reasons, inclement weather, capacity, or to ensure the safety and security of guests or if the organisers reasonably consider the circumstances so require.
The organisers reserve the right to add, withdraw or substitute performers, displays or activities and to vary the advertised programme.
Admission to the event site is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The organisers accept no liability for any loss, injury or damage sustained to people or personal property within the event site, car parks, or shuttle buses.
Cars and their contents are parked at the owner’s risk. The organisers do not accept any responsibility for losses or thefts of any kind of property anywhere on the event site, car park or park and ride locations.
There is strictly no trading allowed within the event site, car park or park and ride locations without the prior consent of the organiser.
No animals (except assistance dogs) are allowed on the event site.
No glass whatsoever will be allowed on the event site and will be confiscated if found.
No fires are allowed on the event site. Chinese lanterns, fireworks, barbeques or smoke canisters are not allowed on the event site, carpark or park and ride locations.
No illegal substances may be brought onto the event site. Any illegal substances found will lead to prosecution.
Security staff have the right to search anybody as a condition of entry to the event should there be a suspicion that prohibited items are being brought onto the site. Anyone refusing to be searched on entry or during the event may be evicted from the site.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or instruct security staff to evict any ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance, or for failure to comply with site rules, licensing conditions or other reasonable requests of the event. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated, and anyone displaying anti-social behaviour will be ejected.
The flying of drones on the event site is prohibited without the prior consent of the organiser and the landowner.
No professional photography/videography equipment is permitted onsite without prior arrangement with the organiser.
Broadcast or livestreaming of the event is prohibited.
Prohibited items
Security staff have the right to confiscate any prohibited items. The following items are prohibited to be brought onto the event site:
- Offensive weapons
- Animals (except assistance dogs)
- Alcoholic beverages
- Glass
- Illegal substances including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs
- Unauthorised temporary signage or promotional products including posters, stickers or fliers
- Unauthorised items for trading
- Amplified music / air horns / loudhailers
- Flags / banners
- Fireworks / flares / laser lights / smoke generators / Chinese lanterns / candles / kites / naked flames / barbeques
- Gazebos / tents / shelters
- Firearms, explosives, chemical, radioactive or biological substances
- Rollerblades, skates, skateboards, scooters, e-scooters, or bicycles
- Any other item that in the opinion of organisers which could cause harm or public nuisance or could jeopardise the management of the event.
Cancellation policy
The event may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond the control of the organisers.
Any cancellation will be communicated by email, website, and social media.
In the event of cancellation, payments for parking tickets will be refunded, minus the non-refundable booking fees component.
