We offer financial help to carry out essential repairs to your home.
Discretionary home improvement grants
We can offer a discretionary grant of up to £5,000 to pay for repairs that are considered essential under the Housing health and safety rating system . You can apply for this grant if:
- You are on a low income
- You are on an income-related benefit or council tax support.
- You have been an owner occupier of the property for at least three years
All discretionary grants depend on available budgets.

Loans
Low cost loans that we subsidise
We also offer low cost loans through our partners. Parity Trust, to pay for essential repairs or improvements to your home or for adaptations to your home that cannot be covered by a disabled facilities grant. Parity Trust will carry out a full financial assessment to make sure that any loans offered are affordable.
