Find out about what we are consulting on and how to give us your views.
We consult on a wide range of subjects and issues, from specific topics, perhaps about changes to one of our services, to more general consultation on the local area.
Have your say on parish and town councils
The government has asked councils in Hampshire to look at how they are organised with a view to reducing the number of councils we have. This is usually referred to as local government reorganisation.
In our area, Rushmoor is likely to become part of a larger unitary authority that would provide all the services we offer, as well as those run by the county council.
As we plan for these changes, we are also looking at what, if any, local arrangements should be in place to make sure your voice can be heard on local issues.
This includes parish councils (also known as town councils) or what are called neighbourhood area committees.
We'd like to hear your views to help us shape this work and would invite you to take part in our online survey.
The closing date to give your views is Friday 12 September.
