This Saturday, 23 May, Aldershot Lido is hosting a community fun day, with a special £5 ticket offer.
The event will mark the reopening of the lido for the summer season, with Everyone Active now operating the facility as an agent for Rushmoor Borough Council.
A key highlight will be TikTok-famous professional freestyle footballer, Jamie Knight, showcasing his incredible skills and hosting football freestyle sessions for children.
Running from 10am to 4pm, the lido will be offering a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy, alongside its regular lane swimming sessions.
Activities include a fun and inclusive Aqua for All session, taster sessions from Blackwater Valley Canoe Club and a Teddy Bears’ Picnic for younger children.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy music from a live DJ, alongside balloon modelling and meet-and-greets with Everyone Active’s monster mascots.
To support the community, several local small businesses will attend as stall holders, showcasing a range of products, services and community offerings.

Councillor Sophie Porter, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Healthy Communities and Active Lives at Rushmoor Borough Council, added: “Everyone Active has organised a fantastic day of activities and entertainment to celebrate the start of the season, so we hope that lots of local people will come on down to enjoy our lovely lido and take advantage of the £5 ticket offer. The weather forecast is certainly looking warm for the bank holiday weekend!”
