Street cleaning
We manually and mechanically clean most of our residential roads approximately every four weeks. We clean some of our busier roads more often.
We aim to keep the borough clean using a combination of manual cleaning, (where our team are equipped with barrows, brooms and litter pickers) and mechanical sweeping when needed.
We aim to clean our residential roads every four weeks. Busier roads are cleaned more frequently.
Our three town centres - Aldershot, Farnborough and North Camp - are cleaned every day, by staff dedicated to them.
Parked cars
Parked cars can make cleaning very difficult. We try our best to clean around parked cars when we come across them.
Some areas that have lots of parked cars are given an annual deep clean, where we request that all cars are moved and the area is coned off. Please see our Coning off streets for cleaning 2021 page for more details.
