Skills for Life
Skills for Life is a free community programme from Citizens Advice Rushmoor that helps your develop the knowledge, skills and confidence that you need to handle everyday challenges and make the most of their resources.
They run a mix of interactive workshops, outreach sessions and one-to-one support, tailored to the needs of different groups and communities. Sessions cover topics such as:
- Managing money and budgeting effectively
- Recognising and avoiding scams
- Making your home safer and more energy efficient
- Understanding credit and borrowing options
- Shopping around for better deals and knowing your consumer rights

Hitting the cold spots advice line
Hampshire County Council's advice line is open to all Hampshire residents struggling to keep their homes warm.
You can call Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Christians Against Poverty runs a free debt advice centre through Kerith and St Peter's Churches in Farnborough.
