Aldershot's community bandstand
Our community bandstand in Princes Gardens is available to use throughout the year.
The Princes Gardens community bandstand hosts a variety of events and concerts for the community including a summer of free brass band concerts.
Salute to D-Day
Don't miss the on the bandstand from 10am to midday on Saturday 13 July.
It will feature a drum head memorial service in recognition of all nations who took part in the D-Day landings. Performing will be the RASC/RCT Association Concert Band and friends, who will be playing some of the most recognised music from that era.
Summer fun in the Princes Gardens bandstand
There is free music every Saturday over the summer months from midday to 2pm in the bandstand.

Community groups can book the bandstand for free, however we do charge a small fee for commercial events. Contact our town centre team using the details on this page to find out more.
History of the bandstand
The Princes Gardens bandstand was built to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012. The design was chosen by local people and the bandstand was officially opened on Saturday 2 June 2012 at the town's Victoria Day jubilee celebrations.
