Coronavirus (COVID-19) - arrangements for attending funeral services

In line with the government's advice, we have made the following changes to the funeral services at the crematorium:

  • A maximum of 16 mourners can attend a service - only the nearest and dearest should attend a funeral

  • Everyone attending a funeral service must wear a face covering/mask (except for children under 11)

  • Chairs in the chapel have been placed to comply with social distancing guidelines

  • Hand sanitiser is available and must be used by all mourners before entering the chapel

  • Mourners should wait in their vehicles before the service (the waiting room is closed to comply with social distancing)

  • The Bereavement Service office is open for enquiries, by phone, email and post. Unfortunately, you cannot visit the office at the moment

Opening times

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and recent changes in law, we have had to make changes for social distancing.

The Bereavement Services office is closed to all visitors, but we are still available to discuss any memorial arrangements with you by phone, applications can be posted to us at the crematorium or emailed to us. Please see the contact details on this page.
