Following the resignation of four councillors from the Labour administration last week, the council leader, Councillor Gareth Williams, has issued the following statement.
"As leader of the council I wanted to reassure all residents and business that the Cabinet and I are committed to delivering on the promises we made to residents and will continue to lead this council.
"We are focused on delivering for the people of Aldershot and Farnborough through the council’s Delivery Plan. We're tackling anti-social behaviour, cleaning up our streets, regenerating our town centres and moving ahead with revised plans for Farnborough leisure centre.
"We have made real progress in a year since taking over the council and will continue in our mission to make a real difference in this community."
