New pink recycling collection banks for small electrical items have been introduced – making it even easier to recycle small electrical items and old gadgets and help the environment.
The new recycling banks are at Tesco Superstore in Aldershot, where two banks will be placed, Aldershot Park in Aldershot; the Asda and Morrisons supermarkets, Cove Green Pavilion car park in Farnborough; Peabody Road car park in North Camp and Ivy Road playing fields in North Town.
These new recycling banks have been funded by Material Focus – the organisation behind HypnoCat.
Council staff will also be at the free Eco Festival at the West End Centre in Aldershot on Sunday (September 14) from 11am to 4pm to chat about electrical recycling.
