Who can vote
Anybody who is registered to vote and lives in Wellington ward is allowed to vote in this election.

How to vote at a polling station
Our polling stations in Wellington ward will be open on Thursday 16 July from 7am to 10pm.
If you vote in person, please make sure to bring some voter ID.
You can find out the details of your polling station on your polling card.
Polling cards
If you were already registered to vote in Wellington ward, you should by now have received your polling card.
If you have recently registered to vote in Wellington ward (if you applied between 9 and 30 June), you will receive your polling card during the week beginning 6 July.
You don't need to have your polling card with you to vote at a polling station.
Voting by post or by proxy
If you are going to be away on polling day (16 July), you can apply for a postal vote or appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf.
- We need to receive postal vote applications by 5pm on Wednesday 1 July
- We need to receive proxy vote applications by 5pm on Wednesday 8 July
If you have a postal vote already and want to change to either vote in person at a polling station, or appoint a proxy, you must let us know by 5pm on 1 July (using the contact details below). Postal votes will be sent out on 3 July.
