You are welcome to arrange the kind of service that feels right for you at the Aldershot Crematorium.

We’re here to support you, whether you choose a religious, humanist, or personal ceremony - or even no ceremony at all.

You may like to hold a full religious service at the crematorium, or perhaps a service elsewhere followed by a quiet committal. Whatever you decide, we’ll do our best to help you honour your loved one in a way that feels meaningful.

You’re welcome to invite your own minister to lead the service, or we can help you find someone who reflects your wishes and beliefs.

Dates and times for a funeral

We hold funerals at the Aldershot Crematorium from Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm. A funeral service usually lasts 30 minutes.

To help with thinking about potential dates for a funeral, you can view our crematorium diary.

Please speak with your funeral director before making any arrangements. Not all times shown may be suitable for your needs.

Our chapel

Our peaceful and tranquil chapel has a picture window looking out over the crematorium grounds. It can comfortably seat 100 people. For larger funerals, we can show the service on a television screen in the waiting room.

To support all our visitors, our chapel has a hearing loop and wheelchair-accessible ramps throughout.

Music and visual tributes

We use the Obitus music system in the chapel, which has an extensive library, including hymns, classical music and other popular tracks.

We have a large wall-mounted television screen, which can show visual tributes.

Type of tribute Description Cost
Halo photograph A single photograph on show throughout the service Free of charge
Simple slideshow Up to 25 photographs shown, without music, on a continuous loop throughout the service or shown once at a time of your choosing £45
Music slideshow Up to 25 photographs, set to music of your choice, played once at a time of your choosing £70
Family made video tribute A homemade video to be played once, at a time of your choosing £25

Usually your chosen funeral director will work with you to arrange the music and visual tributes that you would like.

Floral tributes

After the service we have a floral tributes area, slightly away from the chapel, offering a quiet place for family and friends to gather.

If tributes aren’t collected on the day, we’ll move them to a separate area and respectfully remove them after four days.

Webcast the service

We have an option for friends and family to view the service via a webcam. Please contact us if you would like to find out more information and for pricing.
