Aldershot Crematorium soon to reopen fully

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to the Aldershot Crematorium soon.

From Monday 5 January, all services will be taking place at the newly refurbished crematorium.

Funerals before 5 January

If you are attending a funeral before 5 January, it will be at the chapels at Redan Road Cemetery, unless we have spoken to the organisers about alternative arrangements. 

Funerals from 5 January

If you're planning a visit to Aldershot Crematorium, we want to make sure that your experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Our dedicated team, working with the funeral director, will be available throughout your visit to offer assistance. Helping to make your time with us as reassuring and respectful as it should be.

Facilities for your visit

The chapel

Our peaceful and tranquil chapel has a picture window looking out over the crematorium grounds. It can comfortably seat 100 people. For larger funerals, we can show the service on a television screen in the waiting room.

To support all our visitors, our chapel has a hearing loop and wheelchair-accessible ramps throughout.

If there is anything we can do to help, please do not hesitate to ask one of our friendly team members. For example, if you would like to borrow a wheelchair, we will be happy to arrange that. Please let us know in advance, so we can have everything ready for you.

Waiting room and toilets

Before the service, you're welcome to spend time in our waiting room next to the chapel. It is a quiet place to gather with friends and family. There is a water machine for your use.

We have toilets with baby changing facilities. Our accessible toilets do not need a radar key.

Floral tributes

After the service we have a floral tributes area, slightly away from the chapel, offering a quiet place for family and friends to gather.

If tributes aren’t collected on the day, we’ll move them to a separate area and respectfully remove them after four days.
