We are aware of commercial negotiations going on between Newham Council and a private developer regarding the lease of a small number of flats in Farnborough.
The Council were previously offered a deal to lease this accommodation, but it was judged to be unaffordable. We understand that no lease has yet been signed.
We are working actively to hold developers to account and to increase the amount of temporary housing available in Rushmoor to address the shortage.
