Flock! with Swish Boing and The Allotment with Plunge Boom - Postponed due to the extreme weather forecast

Saturday 24 July, Princes Gardens, Aldershot

Due to extreme weather forecasts, Flock! has been postponed to Sunday 8 August (see below).

The Allotment has also been postponed, but will return in October for some spooky Halloween fruit and veggie fun.

The Trolls Kitchen with Plunge Boom

Saturday 31 July, by Costa Coffee, Aldershot

A troll has been sighted and the chefs have been summoned! Hungry trolls are trouble, so in a bid to keep him well-fed and untroubled, the chefs are cooking up a fairy tale feast. The audience will forage for ingredients before preparing a meal of repugnant stews, rancid cup cakes, putrid smoothies, and mangy salads. Roll up your sleeves, it's about to get messy!

Show times:

  • 11am to midday
  • 1.30pm to 2.30pm

Under the Sea pavement art with Urban Canvas, Alice in Wonderland with Boxtree Productions and Eco Explorers Club

Saturday 7 August
Union Street - activities, 10.30am to 2.30pm

Be a pavement artist for the day on Union Street, trying the art of street screeving - just like Bert in Mary Poppins! Watch as the giant sea creatures grow and help to create some crazy underwater critters on the street.

Our monthly Eco Explorers Club will be alongside the pavement art activity. This month we'll be exploring bees and pollinators and making pompom bees, while discovering exciting ways to look after nature and the environment. Sessions take place at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2pm.

Free open-air theatre shows

Follow us down the rabbit hole for Alice in Wonderland in Princes Gardens at 1pm and 4.30pm. Join Alice as she travels to a wonderful world of caterpillars, cards and tea parties. With toe-tapping songs, colourful characters and hilarious comedy, enjoy Lewis Carroll's classic tale outdoors this summer!

Bring blankets, low backed chairs, a picnic to enjoy and dress for the great British weather. Fun for all ages!

Flock! with Swish Boing (rescheduled from 24 July)

Flock! is a sheep herding show like no other! Patch the sheepdog has set his eyes on the prize, in this countryside spectacular. After a year of polishing their skills, Patch the sheepdog and his diligent shepherd are back to claim the winning trophy. Can you help to navigate the silly sheep back into their pen? Forget about pigs flying, it's the sheep you've got to watch out for!

A hitch-hike on the journey from small acorns to great oaks with Wilford. He's planting trees where he shouldn't, living in his shed and on the run from his past and his arch-enemies - giant slugs - who are out to get him for his contraband seeds! The show is full of captivating images, puppetry, giant inflatables, and live music.

  • 10.30am to midday
  • 1pm to 2.30pm

What the Tortoise Taught Us with the Flying Buttresses and Crafty fun
