How to apply for a residents' parking permit.

Important changes to on-street parking

On 1 April, all on-street parking, including parking charges and enforcement of parking restrictions, together with residents’ on-street parking areas, will transfer from us to Hampshire County Council

For details, see our Important parking and traffic management changes page.

We offer a range of parking permits for residents in Aldershot or Farnborough.

If your home is in a residents' parking permit area, you, or your landlord (on your behalf) can apply for a parking permit to park near your home.

To find out if your property is in a residents’ permit scheme area, please see our permit zones page. Not all properties are included in the permit scheme, this could be due to being a new build property or the renovation of an existing property.

How many permits you are entitled to will depend on the number of off-street parking spaces you have. In areas where there are limited parking spaces, you will only be able to have one permit per property.

A permit does not mean you have a specific place to park. It only allows you to park in the permit area, if there is space.
