New on-street parking and traffic management arrangements will come into effect in Aldershot and Farnborough on 1 April.
Changes to on-street parking
All on-street parking, including parking charges and enforcement of parking restrictions, together with residents’ on-street parking areas, will transfer from us to Hampshire County Council.
Until 31 March, if you have a query about on-street parking, you should contact us as usual. From 1 April, you should contact Hampshire County Council.
We will still manage parking in our own car parks, including ticket machines, car park permits and enforcement.
If you get a parking fine
If you get an on-street parking fine up to 31 March, you should still pay it to us. After 1 April, please follow the instructions on your parking fine notice.
If you get a parking fine in one of our car parks, you should continue to pay it as normal to us.
Traffic management changes
Traffic management work including disabled parking bays, access protection markings for dropped kerbs, and temporary road closures also transfer to Hampshire County Council, as the highway authority, on 1 April.
For more details, see Hampshire County Council's parking and traffic enforcement pages.
