Census 2021

Take part to help inform decisions on services that shape our community.

Census 2021 logo Census day is Sunday 21 March 2021. You can fill in the questionnaire online as soon as you get your access code in the post.

If your household circumstances change on census day, please get in touch with the Office of National Statistics (ONS)

The census is a unique survey that happens every ten years. It gives us a snapshot of all the people and households in England and Wales - the most detailed information we collect about our society.

It's important that you fill in your census questionnaire and we are encouraging every household in Aldershot and Farnborough to take part.

Without the information you share, it would be more difficult to understand what our community needs and to plan and fund public services such as new schools, doctors' surgeries or bike lanes.

If you need help to fill in the census there's a wide range of support services available. This includes a contact centre that can give you help over the phone and guidance in a range of languages and accessible formats, including paper questionnaires and large print. Please go to the census 2021 website.

The Census is hiring

There are opportunities available for local people for part-time working with the ONS. Further information is available on the census jobs website.
