Coronavirus - local testing sites and latest information

If you have coronavirus symptoms, however mild, you must get tested. There are now local testing sites available.

The symptoms of coronavirus are:

  • A high temperature
  • A new, continuous cough
  • A loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste

You can book a test on the NHS website, where you will also find more advice.

Local testing sites

There is now a coronavirus testing centre available in the Parsons Barracks car park in Ordnance Road, Aldershot.

The coronavirus mobile testing unit will also be available in the Napier Gardens car park, North Camp on the following dates:

  • 9 to 11 December
  • 17 to 19 December

Both testing sites are by appointment only.

About testing

Testing is free and involves a swab of the nose and back of the throat, which takes less than a minute.

When you go to book a test, you will be offered the next available appointment. This may not be for these local sites.

Anyone who doesn't have access to the internet can call 119 to book a test.
