This autumn, see Aldershot town centre get yarn-bombed, in a bright and colourful celebration of our community.

Designed to bring vibrancy and colour to Wellington Street and Union Street over the autumn and winter months, the Colour Burst! yarn installation will see over 25 crochet creations put up on trees, lamp posts and railings, in October and November.

The bright and vibrant woolly creations have been made by local textile artists, Barbara Touati Evans and Gemma MacLennan, who hope to bring a smile to everyone who visits the town. Keep your eyes peeled and watch over the next few weeks as the installation grows.

For more information about the project, visit the artist's pages Let's Crochet UK and Crogemcrochet on Facebook.
