Council tax bill barcode

We have discovered a technical problem with the barcode on our council tax bills for 2019/20, which means it will not work it if you try to use it to pay at a post office or payzone outlet.

This will not affect most of our 38,000 households, who pay by direct debit, standing order or online.

If you have made a payment at a post office or payzone in the last year, we will be sending you a replacement bill with a new barcode on it and a letter of explanation very shortly. 

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
