Spring update on the Rushmoor Community Lottery.

We are delighted at the level of interest and enthusiasm for the Rushmoor Community Lottery since we launched it in August 2017.  Here are some of the highlights of the first four months: 

Ticket sales and money raised

  • 15,298 tickets have been sold
  • £9,624 has been raised for good causes in Rushmoor, of which £5,925 has gone direct to good causes.  £3,699 has gone into the Community Fund (including 10% from every ticket sold)
  • £27,580 is forecast to be raised for good causes in our first year
  • Seventy good causes have been approved

Prizes

Since our launch, five bolt-on prizes have been given away:

  • Geonaute ONmore 120 GPS connected watch (donated by Decathlon)
  • Traditional afternoon tea for two at The Aviator
  • A framed British Athletics training shirt signed by local GB Olympian Steph Twell
  • Family panto ticket (donated by Princes Hall)
  • A year's family gym membership (donated by Places for People)

Cash prizes

  • One lucky player has won £250
  • 36 players have won £25
  • 303 players have won three extra tickets
