About the Westgate development
The £65-million pound leisure development was a joint venture between the council and Citygrove and was financed through a £51 million Forward Funding Agreement with Legal and General Property. Construction work began in early 2011 and the development was built with all the units pre-let. Westgate was officially opened in October 2012 and fully open for business since early 2013.
