We advertise our statutory public notices, including our planning applications, in the Hampshire Independent newspaper and on the Hampshire County Council website.

You can use the website to Search public notices in your area and register to receive regular email updates.

The Hampshire Independent

The Hampshire Independent is a free weekly newspaper that circulates throughout Hampshire and contains the public notices of a number of other councils, including Hampshire County Council.

You can pick up a copy of the Hampshire Independent at the following places in Aldershot and Farnborough. They are usually delivered on a Thursday night or a Friday morning.

If you have trouble getting a copy of the newspaper, you can ask to get a free copy sent to your home. To do this, you can email hampshiremedia@aol.com or call 01962 859559.

You can also read the latest copy online or ask to receive a weekly emailed copy on the Hampshire Independent website.

We used to advertise our public notices in the Star-Courier and News and Mail newspapers, but moved to the Hampshire Independent as part of programme to save money.
