The Basingstoke CanalThis 32-mile towpath and waterway plays host to both wildlife and leisure seekers.The Basingstoke Canal was first conceived as means of transport over 200 years ago! Another way of finding out more about the canal is by visiting the Basingstoke Canal Visitor Centre which is located nearby in Mytchett.
