• Clean your road within one working day of the publicised day on the Council website
• Spillages and unacceptable instances of littering can occur within the publicised frequency. We will arrange for fast response removal within one working day of being notified
• A number of streets in the Borough are coned off to make sure that the gullies can have a complete clean

The Environmental Protection Act 1990 Part IV was introduced to get our streets and public open spaces clean. It makes littering a serious offence. The Act makes the Council responsible for keeping public land clear of litter and refuse as far as is practicable.
