Fly-tipping is unsightly and can also be hazardous. It is an offence under the Environmental Protection Act 1991 and carries a severe fine.

• Visit the site within 1 working day and arrange removal of any unauthorised fly-tipping
• Examine tipped material for clues of its origin
• Contact the person or company who carried out the fly-tipping and if necessary take legal action
