Corporate surveillance

Find out about our corporate surveillance policy.

In common with all other public bodies charged with investigating criminal offences, we make use of covert surveillance in order to gather information.

Very occasionally, we may also use human sources or informers to provide information discreetly.

Our powers for the use of covert surveillance are governed by the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (as amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012).

Please see our pdf icon Corporate Surveillance Policy [238kb] for more information.
