Could your business offer a young person the chance to earn whilst they learn?
An apprenticeship is a way for young people and adult learners to earn while they learn in a real job, gaining a real qualification and a real future. Hiring apprentices helps businesses to grow their own talent by developing a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce.
Depending on the age of the apprentice, government funding can cover up to 100 per cent of the training costs. Businesses may be able to claim a £1,500 grant if they recruit a 16 to 24-year-old apprentice. Other grants are available - see the National Apprenticeship Service website for more information.
