Community transport

Help for people who struggle to use public transport.

Dial-a-Ride

Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door service, using specially adapted buses, for people who find it difficult to use ordinary buses. You don't have to be registered disabled to use the service - you may, for example, find it difficult to walk to the bus stop.

You have to register for the service and after that, you can pre-book a journey anywhere in Rushmoor. On certain days, the buses go outside this area to places like The Meadows at Camberley.

You will have to pay to use the service, but it's normally cheaper than a taxi and if you have a bus pass, you can get half-price travel after 9am. If you have a carer or essential escort, such as to push your wheelchair, they travel for free.

Register for Dial-a-Ride

To register, you need to call 01252 518090 between 10am and 12.30pm, Monday to Friday and ask for a registration form. You can also download a form from the Dial-a-Ride page of the Rushmoor Voluntary Services' website.

Hiring accessible minibuses

Rushmoor Voluntary Services has a range of accessible minibuses available for hire to community groups. For more information, please see the Community buses page on the Rushmoor Voluntary Services' website.
