Basingstoke Canal
The Basingstoke Canal runs for 32 miles from Greywell village in Hampshire to Woodham in Surrey. It was built in the late 18th century to provide a transport route for heavy goods from Basingstoke to London. Now it is recreational area for boating, angling and walking.
