Reducing junk mail

Reducing junk mail by registering for the Mailing Preference Service

The  Mailing Preference Service (MPS) is a free service that allows you to have your names and addresses removed from mailing lists used by many businesses.

You can also stop receiving additional unaddressed mail, by opting out of Royal Mail's door to door service.

It is not possible to prevent all unaddressed mail, such as takeaway leaflets, but registering with the two services above will certainly help.
