This will be followed by a wreath-laying service at 9.30am at The Cenotaph, Municipal Gardens, Grosvenor Road, Aldershot, attended by the Mayor.

The Deputy Mayor will be at Knellwood, Canterbury Road, Farnborough, at 9.30am, before heading to the service, wreath-laying ceremony and march past at 10.30am at North Camp Methodist Church, Lynchford Road, Farnborough.

The Mayor will lay a wreath at the War Memorial outside the Princes Hall at 10.10am before making her way to The Royal Garrison Church of All Saints, Farnborough Road, Aldershot, at 10.45am for a service, wreath-laying ceremony and march-past.

She said: "All these services are open to members of the public, so we hope there will be the usual good turnout from local residents as we mark this very poignant occasion.

"We should never forget the ultimate sacrifice made by the men and women of the Armed Services in fighting to protect our freedom."

The council has also arranged for large poppies to be displayed in the town centres to mark Remembrance Sunday.
